Genevieve Wondoloski, 87
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Genevieve S. Wondoloski, 87, of 2B Village East, formerly of 801 Mohawk Trail, died Tuesday, Jan. 27, 2004, at home.
Born in Warren, R.I., on April 28, 1916, daughter of Peter and Louise Goloskie Winiarski, she attended schools there. She moved to North Adams in 1946.
Mrs. Wondoloski assisted in the operation of the family business, Stan's Rubber Welders Co., on the Mohawk Trail. Earlier, she had worked for several years in the cotton mills in Turners Falls and the Sears store in Greenfield.
She was a communicant of St. Francis' Church. She was a volunteer at the Franklin County Medical Center in Greenfield during World War II.
Her husband, Stanley Wondoloski, whom she married Aug. 9, 1933, died March 20, 1986.
She leaves two sons, James S. Wondoloski of Williamstown and Christopher H. Wondoloski of North Adams; a sister, Stacey Delekta of Warren, 10 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son former Pittsfield Police Officer Anthony P. Wondoloski on March 1, 1995, and two grandsons, Peter Wondoloski and Neil Cheesbro.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Services for Genevieve S. Winiarski Wondoloski will take place Saturday at 9 at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, West Chapels, 521 West Main St. North Adams.
Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Memorial donations are suggested for the charity of the donor's choice through the funeral home.
