Louis F. Pasotti, 82

ADAMS, Mass. — Louis Frank Pasotti, 82, of 104 Walling Road died early Sunday morning, July 18, 2004, at North Adams Commons. Born in North Adams on Oct. 4, 1921, son of Gentile and Jennie Montagna Pasotti, he attended North Adams schools and moved to Adams in 1958. A Marine Corps veteran of World War II, he served in the European theater until his honorable discharge as a corporal in 1945. Mr. Pasotti was employed by the former James Hunter Machine Co. in North Adams for 36 years, retiring in 1983. Earlier, he had worked at the former Brightwater Paper Co. and at the former Gale Shoe Co. in North Adams. He was a member of St. Mark's Episcopal Church. He and his wife, the former Annie E. Marsden, were married Sept. 6, 1958. Besides his wife, he leaves a brother, William Pasotti of North Adams; a sister, Rose Pasotti of North Adams; two nieces, two nephews, a grandniece, a great-grandniece and a great-grandnephew. He was predeceased by two brothers, Charles and Angelo Pasotti, and a sister, Lena Galli. FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Mr. Pasotti will be conducted Tuesday, July 20, at 10 at AUGE-PACIOREK-SIMMONS FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, by the Rev. Michael McCue, rector of St. Mark's Episcopal Church, Adams. Burial will follow in Bellevue Cemetery, Adams. Calling hours will be today, July 19, from 5 to 7 at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to St. Mark's Episcopal Church through the funeral home.
