Sandra Beaudin-Lemieux, 66
CLARKSBURG, Mass. — Sandra Lee Bukowski Beaudin-Lemieux, 66, of 91 Wheeler Ave., died Thursday, July 22, 2004, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield following a long illness.
Born in Hopedale on July 10, 1938, daughter of the late Henry and Angela Volpicelli Spadoni, she was educated in Hopedale schools and also attended Bentley College in Boston.
A Navy veteran, she served primarily at the Chelsea Naval Hospital and moved to the Berkshires in 1965.
Mrs. Beaudin-Lemieux was a homemaker and the former owner of Emma's Kitchen in Pittsfield. She was also the owner of the Mountainview Restaurant, which she operated until retiring in 1998.
She was a member of the Bahai Spiritual Assembly of Williamstown and a longtime volunteer for Special Olympics in North Adams. She also coached several teams in softball, basketball, soccer, bowling and cross country skiing.
She and her husband, William Lemieux, were married in April 1995 in Clarksburg.
Besides her husband, she leaves a daughter, Tania Bukowski Rosen and her husband, Philip; a sister, Brenda Duprey and her husband, Stanley, of Lenox; and two grandchildren, Siera Rosen and Sydney Rosen of Marlboro, N.J.; her former husband and best friend, Philip Bukowski of Becket.
She was predeceased by her former husband Donald Beaudin and her daughter Diana Bukowski Eccles.
FUNERAL NOTICE — Graveside committal service and burial for Mrs. Beaudin-Lemieux will private at the family plot at Bellevue Cemetery in Adams.
Calling hours will be Saturday, July 24, from 4 to 6 at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, West Chapel, 521 West Main St., North Adams. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are suggested for the Special Olympics or the American Lung Association through the funeral home.
