Lucille M. Felix, 81

SAVOY, Mass. - Lucille M. Felix, 81, of 48 Loop Road died Thursday, Nov. 10, 2005, at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield from complications following surgery. Born in Adams on Dec. 8, 1923, daughter of Ernest J. and Mabel A. Herzog Lacasse, she attended the former Notre Dame School and had formerly resided on Columbia Street. Mrs. Felix was employed in the sorting department of the former Brightwater Paper Co. in Adams, retiring in 1970. She also worked as a bobber tender for the former Berkshire Fine Spinning Associates in Adams and in the ordnance department of the former GE in Pittsfield. She was a member of the Catholic Parishes of Adams and a communicant of Notre Dame Church, where she helped operate the bingo games. She was also a member of the Cartier Club. She and her husband, Ralph E. Felix Sr., were married June 22, 1946, by Msgr. Joseph T. Smith. Mr. Felix died April 14, 1981. She leaves two sons, Ralph E. Felix Jr. and his wife, Deborah, of Adams and Bruce A.J. Felix of North Fort Myers, Fla.; a daughter, Diana M. Malloy and her husband, Bernard, of Savoy; a brother, Ernest R. LaCasse Jr. of North Adams; a sister, Theresa Gerry of Williamstown; six grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by two brothers, Clarence LaCasse and Leo LaCasse. FUNERAL NOTICE - A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Mrs. Felix, who died Thursday, Nov. 10, 2005, will be celebrated Tuesday, Nov. 15, at 10 at Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs Church by the Rev. Daniel J. Boyle, pastor. Burial will follow in the family plot in Bellevue Cemetery. The family will meet friends Monday from 4 to 7 at McBRIDE FUNERAL HOME. Memorial donations are suggested to St. Jude's Children's Hospital or to the Adams Ambulance through the funeral home, 4-8 Liberty St., Adams, MA 01220.
