Eveline A. Geno, 86
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Eveline Antoinette Geno, 86, of 93 Cleveland Ave., Apartment 41, died Friday, March 17, 2006, at North Adams Regional Hospital.
Born in Valley Falls, R.I., on Oct. 21, 1919, daughter of Albert and Annie DeLorme Geno, she moved to Stamford, Vt., as a child and attended local schools. She moved to North Adams in 1974.
Miss Geno was employed by the former Hunter Outdoor Products Co. for many years, retiring when the company ceased operations.
She was a communicant of Notre Dame Church.
She leaves two nieces, Beverly Collins, who, with her husband, Raymond, were her caregivers and Pamela Macksey and her husband, Randy, all of North Adams; two nephews, William Geno and his wife, Shirley, of Pownal, Vt., and Everett Geno Jr. and his wife, Kathy, of Eldridge, Ohio; a grandniece, Ashley Macksey, and a grandnephew, Chad Everett Bennett.
Her brother, Everett Geno, died in 2004.
FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Miss Geno will be Monday at 9:15 at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, CENTRAL CHAPEL, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 10 at St. Francis of Assisi Church in North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
Calling hours at the funeral home will be tomorrow from 4 to 7. Memorial donations are suggested for St. Francis' Church through the funeral home, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, MA 01247.
