Michael D. Gauthier, 45

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Michael David Gauthier, 45, of 423 Pattison Road died Wednesday, June 28, 2006, at his home. Born in North Adams on Aug. 18, 1960, son of David Gauthier of Pownal, Vt., and Nancy Billings Delisle of North Adams, he attended North Adams and Bennington, Vt., schools, and was a 1979 graduate of Charles H. McCann Technical School. He was a member of the National Guard. At the time of his death, Mr. Gauthier was employed by Crane Personal Design Services as an engraver. Previously, he had been employed by the Cummings Stained Glass Studio. He enjoyed mountain biking, playing basketball, and watching the Boston Celtics, the New England Patriots, the New York Yankees and the Simpsons. He loved to spend time with his family. Besides his parents and his stepfather, Robert Delisle, he leaves his wife, the former Donna M. Lloyd; three daughters, Danielle S. Gauthier, Alana H. Gauthier and Gabrielle P. Gauthier, all of North Adams; a sister, Joann Gauthier of North Adams; a brother, Jody Gauthier of Marstons Mills, and a granddaughter, Renne Amore Sherman-Gauthier, and several nieces and nephews. FUNERAL NOTICE — Funeral services for Mr. Gauthier and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to Shriners Hospital for Children, through AUGE-SAN SOUCIE-SIMMONS FUNERAL HOME, 46 North Church St., North Adams, MA 01247, which is in charge of arrangements.
