Kathryn M. Lescarbeau, 80
CLARKSBURG, Mass. — Kathryn M. Lescarbeau, 80, of 1131 River Road died Friday, Jan. 5, 2007, at home.
Born in Stamford, Vt., on March 26, 1926, daughter of William and Maude Sherman Dunn, she attended school there and in North Adams.
Mrs. Lescarbeau was employed by the former Hoosac Cotton Mills in North Adams. Before that, she was employed by the former Sprague Electric Co. and the former Winsdor Print Works, both in North Adams.
She was a longtime communicant of St. Francis' Church in North Adams.
She and her husband, Edward J. Lescarbeau, were married July 29, 1946, in St. Francis' Church. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Besides her husband, she leaves five daughters, Holly Moore, Kathryn Davignon, Bonnie Demers and Sherrie Andrews, all of Clarksburg, and Barbara Andrews of North Adams; a son, Edward Lescarbeau of Bealeton, Va.; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by three sisters, Anna Dunn, Dorothy Liberty and Lea Bettie, and by four brothers, Alfred Gregory, and Charles, Clarence and William Dunn.
FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Kathryn M. Lescarbeau, who died Friday, Jan. 5, 2007, will be Tuesday at 10:15 at FLYNN & DAGNOLI-MONTAGNA HOME FOR FUNERALS, WEST CHAPEL, 521 West Main St., North Adams, with a Liturgy of Christian Burial at 11 at St. Anthony' Church in North Adams.
Burial will be in the spring in the family plot in Clarksburg Cemetery. Calling hours at the funeral home will be Monday from 4 to 7. Memorial donations are suggested for Friends of Renal Dialysis at Berkshire Medical Center through the funeral home.
