ADAMS, Mass. — Alice Roberta Lesnick, 77, of 114 Upper E. Hoosac St. died Monday, Sept. 24, 2007, at home.
Born in North Adams on Jan. 10, 1930, daughter of Eugene and Alice Benoit Bellows, she attended local schools.
Mrs. Lesnick was employed by the former Waverly Textile Mill as a seamstress, retiring when the company ceased operations. Before that, she worked for the former CB Sports, Hunter Outdoor Products and the former Wall-Streeter Shoe Co., all in North Adams.
She was a communicant of the Parish of Notre Dame-St. Thomas and a member of the Adams Line Dancers and the Northern Berkshire Communication Club in North Adams.
Her husband, Stanley H. Lesnick, whom she married Sept. 23, 1949, died Sept. 17, 1999.
She leaves three sons, Thomas Lesnick and his wife, Betteann, of Cheshire, and Steven Lesnick and his wife, Michelle, and John Lesnick, all of Adams; two sisters, Jean Faustini of North Adams and Loretta Cwalinski of Adams; a brother, Lawrence Bellows of North Adams; seven grandchildren, Kami Astorino, Jason Laine, and Kelly, Thomas, Amy, Ryan and Jacob Lesnick; five great-grandchildren, Kylee, Ashlee, Mackenzie and Nathan Lesnick, and Kaitlin Astorino, and nieces and nephews.
FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Mrs. Lesnick will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at PACIOREK FUNERAL HOME, 13 Hoosac St., Adams, followed at noon by a Liturgy of Christian Burial at Notre Dame des Sept Douleurs Church in Adams.
Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery, North Adams. Calling hours will be tomorrow from 4 to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.
