Pauline J. Huttle, 78
CLARKSBURG, Mass. - Pauline Jean Huttle, 78, of 64 Fairview Heights died Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2008, at Berkshire Medical Center in Pittsfield.
Born in North Adams on April 24, 1930, a daughter of Arthur and Emma Rupprecht Eddy, she attended schools in North Adams and graduated from the former Bliss Business School.
Mrs. Huttle was employed for 20 years as a clerk at the North Adams Transcript, retiring in 1992. She also had worked at the former Adams Nursing Home and in the former Hoosac Cotton Mills.
She was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church and was a member of VFW Post 996 Ladies' Auxiliary, both in North Adams. She enjoyed cooking, ceramics, sewing and knitting. She was a devoted mother, wife and grandmother.
She and her husband, Theodore A. Huttle, were married April 15, 1950, in St. Francis' Church.
Besides her husband, she leaves a son, Matthew Huttle and his wife, Connie, of Clarksburg; a sister, Doris Raphael of Union City, Calif.; a granddaughter, Meagan Cropper and her husband, Chris, of Clarksburg, a great-grandson, Brandon Cropper, and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by another son, Mark Huttle, and a brother, George Eddy.
FUNERAL NOTICE - A Liturgy of Christian Burial will take place Tuesday at 11 a.m. at St. Francis' Church in North Adams. There will be no calling hours.
