Eleanor M. Felix, 90
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Eleanor M. Felix, 90, of 321 Eagle St. died Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011, at Williamstown Commons.
Born in North Adams on Dec. 10, 1920, daughter of Frederick "George" and Rose Perrault Rhodes, she attended North Adams schools and graduated from Drury High School.
Mrs. Felix was employed for 27 years at North Adams Regional Hospital, reiring in 1983. She had earlier worked at the former Sprague Electric Co.
She was a communicant of the former St. Francis of Assisi Church and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.
Her husband, Charles G. Felix Sr., whom she married Nov. 26, 1946, died Oct. 23, 1989.
She leaves a son, Charles G. Felix Jr. and his wife, Gloria, of North Adams; a stepdaughter, Nancy Nestle of Detroit; two grandchildren, Steven Felix and Colin Felix, both of North Adams, and nieces and nephews.
Her siblings Frederick Rhodes, Claire Piaggi, Geraldine Lanoue and Rita Cullen are deceased.
FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Mrs. Felix will be Tuesday, Oct. 18, at 8:15 a.m. from Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, followed by a Funeral Mass at 9 at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Monday from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to North Adams Regional Hospital CCU in care of the funeral home.
