Jacqueline Joseph, 81
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Jacqueline Joseph, 81, of 816 West Shaft Road died Tuesday, Nov. 1, 2011, at the home of her niece and nephew Samantha and Michael Ritcher in Readsboro, Vt.
Born in North Adams on Oct. 11, 1930, a daughter of David and Corrina Lord Bressette, she graduated from the former Notre Dame School in North Adams.
Mrs. Joseph was employed at the former Hoosac Cotton Mills and later at the Mocha Shop.
She was a communicant of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church and a member of the North Adams VFW Ladies Auxilliary. She enjoyed playing the piano and bingo.
Her husband, Edward Joseph Joseph, whom she married Oct. 18, 1952, died Feb. 26, 2009.
She leaves a son, James D. Joseph and his wife, Sinhee, of North Adams; two sisters, Dawn Swanson and Irene Martell; a grandson, Edward J. Joseph of Atlant, and nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her sister Marie Sharron and three brothers-in-law, John Swanson, Philip Martell and Harold Sharron.
FUNERAL NOTICE — A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Mrs. Joseph will be celebrated Thursday, Nov. 10, at 11 from St. Elizabeth Church in North Adams.
