Michael A. Kline, 59
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Michael Allen Kline, 59, of 57 Tyler St. died Wednesday, Nov. 23, 2011, at home.
Born in North Adams on June 19, 1952, son of Marion A. Whitmore Kline of North Adams and the late Harold J. Kline Sr., he graduated from the former St. Joseph's High School.
A Marine veteran, he served during the Vietnam War.
Mr. Kline was last employed by Sand Springs Bottling Co. for more than 10 years. Before that, he worked at Aladco in Adams.
He was a communicant of the former St. Francis of Assisi Church. He enjoyed golf and bowling, enjoyed playing chess, reading, and hunting.
Besides his mother, he leaves his wife, the former Christine Roberts, whom he married on March 20, 1981; two daughters, Sarah Kline and Kaitlyn Kline and her significant other, Greg Onorato, all of North Adams; a brother, Mark Kline of North Adams; two sisters, Mary Ann Mullett of Balch Springs, Texas, and Roni-Sue Cahill of Rawlett, Texas; five grandchildren, Collin Langlois, Christopher Mach, Joey Onorato, Matthew Kline and Emily Onorato, and nieces and nephews.
His stepson, Jeffrey J. Mach, died in 2003 and his brother Harold "Chuck" Kline Jr. died in 2010.
FUNERAL NOTICE — The funeral for Mr. Kline will be held Monday, Nov. 28, at 11 a.m. from Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Sunday, Nov. 27, from 2 to 5 at the funeral home.
