Robert J. Allard, 59

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Robert J. "Bull" Allard, 59, of 391 Walker St. died Monday, Jan. 16, 2012, at home. Born in North Adams on Jan. 8, 1953, son of Conrad H. and Gladys Markland Allard, he attended North Adams schools and graduated from Drury High School with the class of 1971. Mr. Allard was a self-employed site specialist in roofing and welding, was a steeplejack and excelled at slate restoration. He also enjoyed motorcycles. He leaves his sister, Andrea Farrow of Billerica; three brothers, David Allard, Michael Allard and Gary Allard, all of North Adams, and nieces and nephews. FUNERAL NOTICE A Funeral Mass for Mr. Allard will be celebrated Friday, Jan. 27, at 11 from St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery. Calling hours will be Thursday, Jan. 26, from 4 to 7 at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Donations may be made in his memory through the funeral home.

The man was always there with a helping hand if you needed it. Always had some funny story to lift your spirits.
We lost someone unique who stood out and stood tall. Adios my friend.

So many funny stories to tell about Bobby (Bull)...But the bottom line is he had such a good heart...ready to help anyone when he could! He will be greatly missed.
