Christopher J. Stanley, 28

CLARKSBURG, Mass. - Christopher James Stanley, 28, of 540 River Road died Sunday morning, Feb. 19, 2012, as a result of an automobile accident in North Adams. Born in Bennington, Vt., on April 5, 1983, son of Henry G. Stanley of North Adams and Cathy Harrington Maselli of Lee, he attended schools in Bennington and graduated from Drury High School in North Adams with the class of 2001. A Marine veteran, he served for four years in Iraq. Mr. Stanley worked with his father in Stanley & Sons Home Remodeling. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and especially enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots fan. Besides his parents, he leaves his fiance, Britni Maxwell, with whom he resided; three children, Caleb Christopher Stanley, Brayleigh Stanley and Addison Stanley; two stepchildren, Arianna Bennett and Jaycob Bennett; a brother, Stephen Stanley of North Adams; four sisters, Heather Stanley, Grace Stanley, Tina Stanley and Angela Stanley, all of North Adams; his paternal grandmother, Mary Thurber Stanley of Queensbury, N.Y.; maternal grandmother, Rosemary Harrington Green of Bennington, and aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. FUNERAL NOTICE - The funeral for Mr. Stanley will be held Saturday, Feb. 25, at 10:30 a.m. at Flynn & Dagnoli Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery in North Adams. Calling hours will be Friday, Feb. 24, from 4 to 7 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the funeral home.

I still can't believe it...It has not hit me yet. I know no one will ever forget you Chris. You were a great father, son, brother, uncle, cousin,grandson, and friend. And will be missed by so many. My prayers are with all of his family(my second family).
