Frances Weeks, 92

WLLIAMSTOWN, Mass. — Frances Weeks, 92, of 176 White Oaks Road died Thursday, March 22, 2012, at Hillcrest Commons in Pittsfield. Born in Bridgeport, Conn., on Feb. 23, 1920, daughter of Elwyn and Gertrude Montgomery Hyde, she graduated from Bassick High School in Bridgeport with the class of 1937. Primarily a homemaker, Mrs. Weeks was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of White Oaks Congregational Church, where she was the organist for many years. She also enjoyed sewing and crocheting. Her husband, William H. Weeks, whom she married Jan. 17, 1942, died on Feb. 27, 1994. She leaves a daughter, Patricia Weeks of Williamstown; a sister, Margaret Young of Dallas; two grandchildren, Robert Doborwicz of Williamstown and Gail Gallant of Monroe, Conn.; three great-grandchildren and two nephews. A daughter, Marjorie Weeks O'Brien, is deceased. FUNERAL NOTICE — A graveside service for Mrs. Weeks will be held on Tuesday, March 27, at 11 a.m. at Eastlawn Cemetery in Williamstown. There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in care of Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, West Chapels, 521 West Main St., North Adams, MA 01247.
