Richard D. Kornn, 57
ADAMS, Mass. — Richard David Kornn, 57, of 23 Columbia St. died Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at Williamstown Commons.
Born in North Adams on Oct. 16, 1954, son of Richard L. and Joyce Jones Kornn, he attended city schools and graduated from Drury High School.
Mr. Kornn had most recently worked at American Cab Co. for 10 years. Before that, he worked at O'Connell's Car Wash for many years.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in North Adams and the Massachusetts National Guard. He was a talented artist and was known for his painting, wood-carving and drawing. He also enjoyed gardening.
He leaves two sisters, Jean Thompson of Williamstown and Bonny Burgoyne of Richmond, Va., nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and his beloved dog Tyra.
FUNERAL NOTICE — A graveside service for Mr. Kornn will be held on Saturday, June 16, at 11 in Southview Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours. Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, is in charge of arrangements.
