Anita M. Passardi, 81
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — Anita May Passardi, 81, of 185 Veazie St. died Thursday, Aug. 30, 2012, at Williamstown Commons.
Born in Readsboro, Vt., on Feb. 15, 1931, daughter of Arthur Parent and Irene Aubertine Parent Pratt, she attended schools in Wilmington, Vt.
Mrs. Passardi was last employed by Mount Snow Ski Resort.
She was an active communicant of St. Joachim's Church in Readsboro and a member of its St. Anne's Society. She helped organize turkey dinners and assisted with other church fundraisers. She also enjoyed gardening, giving to charity, and spending time with family and friends, especially brunch on Sundays with the girls.
Her husband, Alfred Passardi, whom she married on March 21, 1970, died on Feb. 11, 1995.
She leaves a daughter, Irene Wilges of New Lebanon, Ohio; three sons, Edward Lescarbeau of West Carrollton, Ohio, Michael Lescarbeau of North Adams and Bruce Lescarbeau of Readsboro; a sister, Jeannette Brown of Wilmington; 11 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren, nieces and Nephews.
Her siblings Barbara Randall and Raymond and Leonard Parent predeceased her.
FUNERAL NOTICE — A Liturgy of Christian Burial for Mrs. Passardi will be celebrated Tuesday, Sept. 4, at 10 a.m. at St. Joachim's Church in Readsboro. Burial will follow in Village Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Tuesday morning from 8 to 10 at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in care of Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, MA 01247.
