Doris D. Luchini, 91
NORTH ADAMS, Mass. - Doris Darling Luchini, 91, of Coachman Lakes Drive, Jacksonville, Fla., and formerly of 14 Monroe St., died Saturday, Sept. 8, 2012, at her home.
Born in North Adams on July 12, 1921, daughter of Albert and Olympia Caprari Domenichini, she graduated from Drury High School.
Mrs. Luchini worked at the former Sprague Electric Co. for more than 30 years, until her retirement.
She was a communicant of the former St. Anthony of Padua Church. She enjoyed cooking, baking and gardening.
Her husband, Livio F. Luchini, whom she married on June 9, 1951, died on Feb. 13, 2001.
She leaves a sister, Mary Culpo of Jacksonville; a brother-in-law, Wallace Brown of Jacksonville; and four nieces, Debra Brown, Kimberly Sexton, Carla Brown and Patricia Brown, all of Jacksonville; and grandnieces and grandnephews.
Her sisters Clara Marceau and Linda Brown predeceased her.
FUNERAL NOTICE - The funeral for Mrs. Luchini will be Monday, Sept. 17, at 10:15 a.m. from Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church. Burial will follow in Southview Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Sunday, Sept. 16, from 4 to 6 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Elizabeth Church or the American Cancer Society in care of the funeral home.
