Bertha A. Luscier, 80
WILLIAMSTOWN, Mass. - Bertha A. Luscier, 80, of 1254 North Hoosac Road died Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2012, at North Adams Regional Hospital.
Born in Dixon, N.M., on July 4, 1932, daughter of Delfino and Beatrice Martinez Arellano, she attended schools Albuquerque.
Mrs. Luscier was employed by the former Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams until 1978. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She and her husband, Gerald Luscier, were married on March 8, 1952, in New Mexico and settled in the Berkshires in 1955.
Besides her husband, she leaves three daughters, Vita Anderson of Portola, Calif., Charlene Pepperman of Williamstown and Theresa Belini and her husband, Richard, of North Adams; two sons, Lee Luscier and his wife, Barbara, of Sammamish, Wash., and Michael Luscier of Round Rock, Texas; three sisters, Lorraine Sanchez, Shirley Archuleta and Anita Sanchez, all of New Mexico; two brothers, Tine Arellano and Del Arellano, both of New Mexico; nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
Her brother Gerson Arellano predeceased her.
FUNERAL NOTICE - Funeral services for Mrs. Luscier will be private. Burial will be in Eastlawn Cemetery.
There will be no calling hours. Memorial contributions may be made to the Sweet Brook Care Centers Activities Fund in care of Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals, Central Chapels, 74 Marshall St., North Adams, MA 01247.
