E3 Students Create Recipe Cards for Food Pantry

The students came to the church bearing a set of recipe cards, which they produced as part of their quarter-long service-learning project to address issues related to food insecurity. As an added treat, they prepared samples of some of their favorite recipes, like pasta salad and five-layer dip, for the food pantry clients to try out.

North Adams' E3 Academy Creates Mini-Pantry

The students at E3 Academy saw a problem with hunger and came up with a solution: a mini-food pantry. Inspired by the proliferation of Little Lending Libraries in the region, the Give Food Take Food pantry box outside the Vietnam Veterans Post 54 is stocked with canned goods with the idea that people who need it will use it.
