The state Department of Environmental Protection is again warning of reduced air quality Monday afternoon because of the ongoing wildfires in Canada.
Smoke is expected to impact air quality tomorrow in Berkshire, Franklin, Hampshire, Hampden, and Worcester counties. Air quality is expected to be unhealthy for sensitive groups.
The Department of Environmental Protection has issued a statewide air quality alert effective until midnight Wednesday.
Currently, air quality conditions in North Berkshire are "Moderate" while in Central Berkshire it is "Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups."
