Friday, June 3rd – Singles of the Berkshires Member Meeting. 6:00pm, Lenox location. Join other members of the areas only organization for singles to discuss agenda items. Saturday, June 4th - Mass Single Mingle / Social. 7pm, The Lichtenstein Center for the Arts, 28 Renne Avenue, Pittsfield. Join Singles of the Berkshires as we celebrate our 3rd Anniversary - expected to be the largest gathering of singles to date in Berkshire County! Light refreshments, interactive “icebreakers”. $10 at door – no RSVP needed for this special event. ALL SINGLES WELCOME! Friday, June 10th - Singles Sunset Canoe/Dessert. 6pm, Pittsfield. Meet other singles at the old Blue Anchor Park area of Pontoosac Lake for a gentle canoe/kayak. (weather permitting) followed by ice cream sundaes at the picnic gazebo at The Pines. Kayak rentals available thru Berkshire Sailing located in old Blue Anchor location - $15/hr. Singles with own watercraft encouraged to join excursion. Please include your age with full name and home phone # when registering. Various ages ranges always forming for upcoming groups. Space limited, first registered will be accommodated first. Meet other singles for dinner, followed by “spacing out” with Tony S. and his high-powered telescope. Friends of Great Barrington Libraries Holiday Book Sale

GREAT BARRINGTON, Mass. — The Friends of Great Barrington Libraries invite the community to shop their annual Holiday Good-as-New Book Sale, happening now through the end of the year at the Mason Library, 231 Main Street. 
 
With hundreds of curated gently used books to choose from—fiction, nonfiction, children's favorites, gift-quality selections, cookbooks, and more—it's the perfect local stop for holiday gifting.
 
This year's sale is an addition to the Southern Berkshire Chamber of Commerce's Holiday Stroll on this Saturday, Dec. 13, 3–8 PM. Visitors can swing by the Mason Library for early parking, browse the sale until 3:00 PM, then meet Pete the Cat on the front lawn before heading downtown for the Stroll's shopping, music, and festive eats.
 
Can't make the Holiday Stroll? The book sale is open during regular Mason Library hours throughout December.
 
Proceeds support free library programming and events for all ages.
