Berkshire Visitors Bureau Hosts Gov. Patrick for Coffee & Conversation on Berkshire Tourism - July 10, 2007
The Berkshire Visitors Bureau will host Gov. Deval Patrick July 13 for a “Coffee & Conversation” meeting to discuss tourism in the Berkshires with area industry leaders. The event, which will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Barrington Stage Co., 30 Union St., was organized to give Berkshire tourism professionals the opportunity to meet and speak with the governor.
Berkshire Visitor Bureau chairman Brian Butterworth, bureau acting CEO Ray Smith and Massachusetts Office of Travel & Tourism (MOTT) executive director Betsy Wall will join Gov. Patrick for the discussion.
According to MOTT’s most recent research, tourism expenditures in Berkshire county have reached an all time high of more than $300 million annually.
