New Radiologist Joins Berkshire Health Systems - August 30, 2007
 | | Dr. Timothy M. Mahoney | PITTSFIELD - Dr. Timothy M. Mahoney, a radiologist, has joined the radiology services at Berkshire Health Systems, which provides 24-hour state-of-the-art imaging services at Berkshire Medical Center and Fairview Hospital. Mahoney provides general radiology services and specializes in vascular and interventional radiology care.
He joins a radiology team that includes Drs. Deepak Agarwal, Curtis Brasseur (doctor of osteopathy), Mazen Ghani, Mayte Gierbolini, Sanjay Kedia, Eric Korenman, Lisa Loring and Prakash Malkani.
Mahoney is board certified in diagnostic radiology and underwent fellowship training in vascular and interventional radiology at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in New Hampshire, where he also completed a second fellowship in magnetic resonance imaging. He received his medical degree from the Medical College of Pennsylvania and Hahnemann University in Philadelphia and completed his residency training at Dartmouth-Hitchcock.
Advanced Berkshire Medical Imaging, the radiology physician practice providing services at BHS' two hospitals, features nine radiologists – all fellowship trained – specializing in a wide range of advanced imaging services. Radiology services include MRIs, high-speed computed tomography scanning, nuclear medicine, neuroradiology, musculoskeletal imaging, interventional radiology, mammography, bone density scanning, ultrasound, stereotactic biopsy and X-Ray.
