Workshop on Giclee Painting Set at Gallery 51 - September 05, 2007
NORTH ADAMS - Visual Winds Studio of Schenectady, N.Y., will conduct "An Evening of Ink," a workshop on giclee fine-art printing at the Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts’ MCLA Gallery 51 on Wednesday, Sept. 18, 6 to 8 p.m.
The presentation is free and open to the public.
Kim Lorang of Visual Winds Studio will be the featured speaker and will cover an introduction to giclee fine-art printing, an overview of what giclee printing is, the most appropriate art for it and the pitfalls to avoid for optimal results. Lorang also will review file preparation, equipment needed, digital capture, scanning, printing surfaces, and the pros and cons of giclee printing.
