BCC to Offer Wine Workshops in South County - October 04, 2007
Wine connoisseurs, or adults simply wishing to learn more about wines, are invited to register for the following workshops offered this fall through Berkshire Community College. All classes meet Thursday evening from 6 to 8 at Grape Finds in Great Barrington.
“The ABC’s of French Wine” (WKS 473) takes participants on a tasting tour from Alsace to Bordeaux to Champagne. Students will educate their palette sideways and every which way as they visit France, the gateway to Europe. This one-session class meets Oct. 18.
“Simply Red!” (WKS 481), explores the gamut from light and juicy to bold and ostentatious reds. Learn why, when it comes to red wines, bad soil makes good wine. The one-session class meets Thursday, Nov. 1
