NORTH ADAMS - Dr. Graham J. Moore, a general surgeon, has joined Williamstown Medical Associates and the medical staff of North Adams Regional Hospital.
Moore earned his medical degree from Albany (N.Y.) Medical College, and served his residency in general surgery at the George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C., where he was chief surgery resident.
His professional interests include laparoscopy and abdominal surgery.
"We are delighted to welcome Dr. Moore to Williamstown Medical Associates and our community," said Dr. Robert Jandl, president of WMA. "With Dr. Moore’s superb training and winning personality we know he will be an outstanding addition to the medical staff."
Richard Palmisano, president and CEO of Northern Berkshire Healthcare, also welcomed Moore to the area. "North Adams Regional Hospital’s surgical services facilities have been completely updated in the last two years, and we're excited to have Dr. Moore join us to expand our surgical staff."
North Adams Regional Hospital is a full-service community hospital serving a population of more than 40,000 residents of northern Berkshire County, southern Vermont, and eastern New York. NARH recently completed a modernization and expansion of patient care areas, including a new outpatient surgery center and new operating rooms, new critical care unit, birthing center and emergency department.

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. -- Camden Righi went 3-for-5 with a double Tuesday to lead the Mystic Schooners (5-1) to a 12-2 win over the North Adams SteepleCats in New England Collegiate Baseball action at Joe Wolfe Field.
Parker Camelo was 2-for-3 at the plate for North Adams, which scored both its runs in the bottom of the ninth.
North Adams used six pitchers in the loss. James Morr and Joe LaPrade each provided an inning of no-hit relief.
The SteepleCats (0-3) are at Martha's Vineyard on Wednesday night.
