Zonta Plans Professional-Clothing Drive - October 11, 2007
PITTSFIELD - The Zonta Club of Berkshire County will hold its annual fall professional clothing drive for women entering the work force on Saturday, Oct. 20, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Christian Center, 193 Robbins Ave.
Items needed are gently worn suits, slacks, sweaters, blouses, skirts, as well as accessories such as purses, scarves and shoes. Please bring clothing on hangers, clean and ready-to-wear. The outfits will be provided at no cost to local women who are preparing for interviews or employment for the first time or after an absence from the work force through the Suit Yourself program. Donations are tax deductible to the extent provided by law, and receipts will be available.
