The first NESCAC semifinal of the day started with intensity in a scoreless first half. Bowdoin controlled the ball for most of the play as Sarah Burleigh and Bethany Baker played stellar defense for the Ephs.
Bowdoin's Lindsay McNamara scored from Ingrid Oelschlager with about 30 minutes left in the 2nd half. 20 minutes later they added a second goal as Meaghan Maguire hit the net.

Emileigh Mercer made 3 saves for the Polar Bears, while Bathany Baker made 12saves for the Ephs.
Coach Rorke was happy with their teams play against a strong Bowdoin college, "Bowdoin is a tremendously talented team…but we made some opportunities and did some nice things", said Coach Rorke.
The Ephs finish the season 10-6 overall and 6-4 in the NESCAC league. They will be graduating 4 seniors, Carolina Jolly, K.K. Krieg, Charlotte VanWagenen, and Cary Bearn, who led this team to a winning season, on and off the field.
