New Parents Gallery Talk Slated in January - December 17, 2007
WILLIAMSTOWN - Parents and their infants are invited to escape into art during the free New Parents Gallery Talk series at the Sterling and Francine Clark Art Institute.
The next talk will be held on Friday, Jan. 4, at 10:15 a.m. New mothers and fathers, along with their babies, will spend an hour with a Clark curator discovering and discussing a variety of art objects in the collection. The talks, most appropriate for parents with infants, are held the first Friday of the month through March at 10:15 a.m.
Strollers are available; parents may also bring their own strollers or carry their children in the galleries. To ensure the safety of the works of art, backpack-style infant carriers are not permitted in the galleries. Front-hanging carriers are welcome.
The Clark is at 225 South St. The galleries are open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 to 5. Admission is free through May 31. For more information, call 413-458-2303 or visit www.clarkart.edu |
