Betty Sartori, art work will open at EPOCH Assisted Living at Melbourne - December 24, 2007
Photographer Betty Sartori will be the featured artist at EPOCH Assisted Living at Melbourne throughout January. A reception to open the gallery show of Sartori’s work will be held on Thursday, Jan. 10, at 4 p.m. in EPOCH’s gallery. The public is invited to attend which will be Sartori’s first-ever gallery.
Sartori was an amateur photographer until 2005, when she took a digital workshop through the Berkshire Museum Camera Club and became more serious about her hobby. Since then, she has successfully entered several photography contests, earning the Berkshire Museum Camera Club Color Print of the Year award in both 2006 and 2007; she also won the contest for the 2006 cover of the Winter Catalog for Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at Berkshire Community College. Sartori typically shoots portraits and nature.
While this reception is free and open to the public, a reservation is requested at 413-499-1992. As EPOCH at Melbourne’s featured artist for January, Sartori’s work will be on display in the community’s art gallery and open for visitors between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. each day. EPOCH is located at 140 Melbourne Road. |
