'Green Drinks' Group Meets in Pittsfield - January 08, 2008
PITTSFIELD - Pittsfield Green Drinks is a very informal gathering, open to everyone with any environmental interest.
On the third Tuesday of each month, the group gathers at 5:15 at the Pittsfield Brew Works, 34 Depot St. The next Green Drinks will be held Tuesday, Jan. 15. Anyone interested in environmental issues, from the climate crisis to land preservation, or from wildlife habitat to recycling, is invited to join the gathering. Green Drinks is sponsored by the Center for Ecological Technology and the Berkshire Environmental Action Team.
Green Drinks is an international forum in which people who work in the environmental field meet for a beer and snacks at informal sessions. There is usually a mix of people from nonprofit organizations, academia, government and business. These networking events are very simple and unstructured.
