Williams Workshop Presents Percussion Recital - January 09, 2008
WILLIAMSTOWN - The Williams College department of music will present an end-of-Winter-Study instructor recital of percussion students on Tuesday, Jan. 22, at 12:15 p.m. in Brooks-Rogers Recital Hall. This free event is open to the public.
The students from the Winter Study Percussion Workshop will perform new, traditional, and experimental music on instruments ranging from marimba, drums, and gongs to found sounds and homemade noise makers under the tutelage of Matthew Gold, director of the percussion ensemble. All are invited to bring a bag lunch for this casual recital. |
