Pianist to Perform at Simon's Rock - January 11, 2008
 | | Pianist Anne Chamberlain | GREAT BARRINGTON - Pianist Anne Chamberlain will give a concert on Saturday, Jan. 26, at 8 p.m. at Bard College at Simon's Rock. The concert, to be held in the Daniel Arts Center, is free and open to the public.
Chamberlain's program includes Brahms' "Fantasien" Op. 116, Schoenberg's "Drei Klavierstucke" Op. 11, Debussy's four "Etudes" from Book II, Larry Wallach's "So Much Depends Upon Distance" (1999), and Louise Talma's "Textures" (1977).
Chamberlain has performed extensively as soloist and chamber musician throughout the United States and Europe. Trained at Oberlin Conservatory and Juilliard School of Music, she has taught piano at Simon’s Rock for more than 15 years.
