The Berkshires received several inches of snow this morning, but not enough to close schools, unlike yesterday's sleety mess. Temperatures will drop into the 20s this afternoon. A few more snow showers are expected through the weekend. |

MassWildlife's annual eagle count runs Dec. 31 to Jan. 14. Anyone sighting one of the regal birds in Massachusetts is asked to participate.

'Love Your Chamber' Night Set for Feb. 13 - January 30, 2008
PITTSFIELD — The Berkshire Chamber of Commerce's February networking event, "Love Your Chamber," will be hosted by The Kinderhook Group and Joe's Lunchbox.
The after-hours event will take place at 137 North St. on Wednesday, Feb. 13, from 5 to 7.
Chamber members are invited to take advantage of this opportunity to taste hors d'oeuvres provided by Joe's Lunchbox and to learn more about the Kinderhook Group, one of North Street's newest businesses. Attendees are encouraged to bring along their business cards for a door-prize drawing. A cash bar will also be available.
The chamber offers monthly networking opportunities as a free benefit to its members. Chamber Nite events are open to Berkshire Chamber members and their employees.
