Pittsfield Toastmasters To Celebrate ‘Chocolate’ At Open House

- February 04, 2008

The Last Word Toastmasters Club of Pittsfield, has rescheduled  its annual Open House and Demonstration Meeting for Tuesday, February 26, 6:30 P.M. at the Morningside School on Burbank Street.

Pittsfield - The Last Word Toastmasters Club of Pittsfield, will host its annual Open House and Demonstration Meeting on Tuesday, February 12, 6:30 P.M. at the Morningside School on Burbank Street. It will be a theme night with presentations centered around chocolate – our favorite sweet treat.

We will show how the meetings are conducted and how the Toastmasters program works. It should be a fun and lively evening. All are welcome to see and hear first hand what Toastmasters is about and how it can help you. This is a free event and of course, refreshments will be served.

Toastmasters International is a not-for-profit public speaking club for anyone who wants to improve their communication skills or who wishes to overcome a fear of public speaking, whether it be for personal or professional development. Individuals who are interested in learning to speak effectively in public learn through impromptu speaking, and preparation and delivery of prepared speeches in a supportive environment, working at your own pace.

The Last Word Toastmasters Club meets every 2nd and 4th Tuesday at Morningside School in Pittsfield, MA from 6:30 – 8 PM. Guests are welcome to visit any meeting at no charge. There are also Toastmasters chapters in Great Barrington, Lenox and Williamstown.
