Program on Constitution Planned at Lenox Library - March 05, 2008
LENOX - The Lenox Library will host the final session of its 2007-08 Distinguished Lecture Series, "Our Remarkable Constitution: The Oddities and Virtues of the American Constitution," on Sunday, March 16, at 4 p.m. in the Sedgwick Reading Room.
The program will be presented by professor Daniel Gordon of the University of Massachusetts at Amherst. He holds a doctorate in history and a master of the study of law from Yale Law School. He taught at Harvard until 1995, when he was appointed to a professorship at UMass. He has written and edited several books and is an expert on the European Enlightenment and American constitutional law. Admission for the lecture is $15.
