NORTH ADAMS - The Northern Berkshire Community Coalition is accepting nominations for the Spring Community Recognition celebration, which will be held Tuesday, May 6, at 5 at Congregation Beth Israel Synagogue on Lois Street.

Anyone may nominate individuals or groups in one or more of the following categories: neighborly acts, neighborhood beautification, business support or pulling together on a project.

Send the name(s), address and phone numbers of those recommended and those making the recommendation, indication of the category and a brief description of the reason. Each nominee will receive an invitation to the event, where the coalition staff and Mayor John Barrett III will present certificates of appreciation.
