Lenox Library Hosts 2nd Annual Beer Tasting Benefit

- April 30, 2008

Lenox - The Lenox Library Association will host its 2nd Annual Beer Tasting benefit on Saturday, May 10, 2008 from 6:30 – 8:30 pm in the Sedgwick Reading Room at the Library at 18 Main Street.

Once again, Jim Nejaime and Sadie Berkel of Nejaime’s Wine and Liquors have arranged for representatives from some of the most popular international breweries, including Boulder, Dogfish Head, New Castle and Saranac, to explain their brewing process and offer samples. In addition, instructional sessions on The Art of Pouring the Perfect Beer and What Glasses to Use with What Beers will be offered.

An extensive and enticing selection of bar food donated by local restaurants will be available. Among featured restaurants will be the Olde Heritage Tavern, The Olde Forge, Loeb’s Foodtown, Red Lion Inn, Aster’s, Cork ‘N Hearth and Arizona Pizza.

Ticket prices are $30, $50 and $100 per adult over 21 years of age. Purchasers of tickets of $50 and above will receive a free, 5 ounce Pillsner beer glass inscribed with the Lenox Library Beer Tasting logo to use that evening. Tickets may be purchased in advance or at the door the evening of the beer tasting. All profits from the event will help support Library services and programs.

For more information or to purchase tickets, contact Lisa Berkel at 413-637-2630 or lberkel@lenoxlib.org.
