Williamstown - "Shoes", a local quintet of talented young musicians, will perform at Wild Oats Market on Wednesday, May 14 at 4:15 pm. WGBY-TV from Springfield will film their performance, which all are invited to attend. "Shoes" will be accepting donations for its performance, and all donations will go to "Heifer International", a non-profit organization whose mission is to end world hunger and poverty through the building of sustainable communities.
"Shoes" performed at Wild Oats’ recent Earth Day event, where they played Klezmer music. Past performances at Wild Oats have included Latin music. "Shoes"’ eclectic style encompasses many different musical genres, and their level of professionalism and capability far surpasses the young ages of their members.
