Presentation on Housing Options for Seniors at the Lenox Council on Aging - June 23, 2008
On Monday, June 30, at 10:00 a.m., Elder Services of Berkshire County, Inc. and Berkshire Regional Housing Authority will present “Housing Options and Community Resources for Seniors” at the Lenox Council on Aging, 65 Walker Street in Lenox.
The presentation will include the eligibility requirements and application process for Subsidized and Supportive Housing, along with an overview of assisted living and subsidies available to eligible individuals to help defray the costs. Also discussed will be the services available to tenants and landlords through the Berkshire Regional Housing Authority. All are invited, there is no charge, and refreshments will be served.
The presenters include: Kristen Curtin, Tenant Mediation Program and Christine Green, Tenancy Preservation Program Manager from Berkshire Regional Housing Authority, and Maureen Tuggey, Housing Programs Manager and Gail Rothwell, Residential Services Coordinator, both from Elder Services.
