Dalton UMC Hosts Vacation Bible School

- June 27, 2008

DALTON – Power Lab is the theme of the 2008 Vacation Bible School offered by Dalton United Methodist Church, which is scheduled to run Monday, July 21, through Friday, July 25.

This year’s Vacation Bible School program will be conducted during evening hours, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., at Dalton United Methodist Church, 755 Main St. Classes are open to children ages 4 to 13.

The week will be filled with games, skits, crafts, music, snacks, and Bible stories based on the “Power Lab” theme, showing children that Jesus gives us the power to be thankful, help others, be brave, live forever and to tell others about God.

There is no fee for Vacation Bible School. Each day there will be a free-will offering, which will be donated to Habitat for Humanity and the Loaves and Fish Food Pantry.

The program is open to children from any church, as well as those who do not attend church but would like to know more about Christianity. For further information or to register, please call Dalton United Methodist at 413-684-0521.
