Berkshire Opera Celebrates Women on the Verge - July 07, 2008
PITTSFIELD - As Berkshire Opera begins its 2008 season at 8 p.m. on July 11at the Mahaiwe Performing Arts Center with "Women on the Verge," three distinguished women take on new positions of leadership in the company, offering their insight as the company embarks into "Uncharted Territory." Kathleen Kelly will serve as Artistic Director, Maureen O'Flynn as Artistic Ambassador, and Massachusetts First Lady Diane Patrick has graciously accepted the position of Honorary Chair of the Board of Trustees.
