Pittsfield Garden Tour To Auction Birdhouses08:37AM / Monday, July 14, 2008
PITTSFIELD – The Pittsfield Garden Tour will participate in this month’s Third Thursday July 17 with its annual Birdhouse Spectacular and Artists Reception, which will feature both a silent and live auction of 48 beautiful handmade birdhouses designed by area artists.
The event will take place at 164 North Street from 5 to 8:30 p.m. with the Live Auction at 7 p.m. Twelve of the Birdhouses have been juried and selected for inclusion in a special edition 2009 calendar. In addition to Birdhouses, a variety of gardening-related and other valuable items will be available for silent auction. Attendants will also have the opportunity to meet the Birdhouses artists.
The 12th Annual Pittsfield Garden Tour will take place July 19 and 20. Tickets are still available at:

During any of the Pittsfield Garden Tour festivities, members of the public may purchase a raffle ticket for $1 for a chance to win an afternoon of personal gardening by the Pittsfield Garden Tour Committee members. All those who attend the Garden Market will receive one free raffle ticket.
