Berkshire Humane Society recently held a special Thursday event08:57AM / Monday, August 18, 2008
Pittsfield - The Berkshire Humane Society at 214 Barker Ave. in Pittsfield recently held a special Thursday event with all adoptions priced at $50. The public response was so positive, that the $50 adoption fee special will be extended until the end of August.
John Perreault, Executive Director of the shelter, stated, “We have so many wonderful cats and dogs at our shelter who are waiting for homes of their own, that we thought by continuing the special adoption price of $50, we could bring more potential owners to the shelter for their next pet.” The adoption fee includes the spay/neutering surgery, micro-chipping of the animal and much more.
The shelter is open for adoptions Tuesday thru Saturday 10am until 4pm, Thursday evenings 5-8pm and Sundays 1pm until 4pm. The available pets can also be viewed at the Berkshire Humane Society’s website, www.berkshirehumane.org. |
