Mill City Productions to Stage Children's Play

North Adams - Mill City Productions is pleased to announce performances of “Rumpelstiltskin Revisited”, an adaptation of the classic story by Guy J. Jackson. Performances will be held on Fridays, August 22nd and29th at 6pm, Saturdays, August 23rd and 30that 11am and Sundays, August 24th and 31st at 2pm.

Performances will take place at Mill City’s home at Building 4 (next to the Visitor’s Center) in the Western Gateway Heritage State Park in North Adams. Please park in either the Northwest lot (near NBCTC) or in the Son’s of Italy lot. Admission is $4 for everyone. Tickets will be available at the door. This show is appropriate for the whole family.

“Rumpelstiltskin Revisited” is a raucous, campy fracturing of the classic fairy tale and will be sure to make audiences of all ages laugh out-loud. The cast features Marissa Carlson, Jackie DeGiorgis, Mike Grogan and Liz Urban.

Berkshire Food Project Closed for Power Issues

NORTH ADAMS, Mass. — The Berkshire Food Project is closed Monday because of a power outage early in the morning. 
 
"We are unable to get proper electricity and heat to the building," according to Executive Director Matthew Alcombright. "We hope that this can be resolved and be open tomorrow."
 
The project does have some sandwiches and frozen meals that will be distributed at the entry.
