Berkshire Lyric Theater Rehearsals Begin - August 25, 2008
The Berkshire Lyric Oratorio Chorus, the adult chorus of the Berkshire Lyric Theater,founded in 1963 by Robert Blafied and now under the direction of Jack Brown, begins fall rehearsals on Monday, September 8th at 7:15 PM at the Unitarian Universalist Church at 175 Wendell Avenue in Pittsfield. New singers are welcome.
In addition to the Orotorio Chorus for adults, Berkshire Lyric also offers learning and performance activities for teens through the Berkshire Singers, and for children through the Blafield Children's Chorus.
"The Blafield Children's Chorus and the Berkshire Singers under the direction of Meghan Gillespie will begin rehearsals September 6th at the Berkshire Athenaeum in Pittsfield MA. Children ages 7-12 rehearse from 10:00-11:30 and Teens ages 13-18 rehearse from 11:00-12:15. Call 413-329-8758 for more information"
