More Snow
The Berkshires received several inches of snow this morning, but not enough to close schools, unlike yesterday's sleety mess. Temperatures will drop into the 20s this afternoon. A few more snow showers are expected through the weekend.
We have reports that the roads are very slippery to take care in the evening commute. |

New Primary Care Physician Joins Fairview - September 03, 2008
 | | Dr. Imanishi | GREAT BARRINGTON — Berkshire Health Systems has appointed Dr. Yuri Imanishi, a board-certified internist, to the staff of Fairview Medical and Fairview Hospital, serving adult primary-care patients throughout Southern Berkshire.
Imanishi is accepting new patients in need of primary care and joins Dr. Mani George at Fairview Medical, 27 Lewis Ave.
Imanishi comes to the Berkshires from New York City, where she had most recently practiced at St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital. She also was a physician with Hawaii Kaiser Permanente in Maui, Hawaii, and with Fallon Clinic in Worcester.
She received her medical degree from Harvard Medical School in Boston and completed the Brown University Internal Medicine Residency program. She is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine. Imanishi has clinical interests and experience in geriatric and palliative care medicine.
