More Snow
The Berkshires received several inches of snow this morning, but not enough to close schools, unlike yesterday's sleety mess. Temperatures will drop into the 20s this afternoon. A few more snow showers are expected through the weekend.
We have reports that the roads are very slippery to take care in the evening commute. |

Northern Berkshire adult basic education classes to begin - September 08, 2008
NORTH ADAMS – Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) has announced that enrollment for the Northern Berkshire Adult Basic Education Program has begun.
This program provides GED preparation at all levels, ESOL and basic skills classes. Computer Skills classes are available to all students enrolled in at least one other class. New courses include Workplace Education & Training for eligible students aged 16-21, and Project Health Readiness Workshops.
All classes, books and materials are free for enrolled students. Day and evening classes begin Sept. 8, and are held at three locations in Northern Berkshire County; Massachusetts College of Liberal Arts (MCLA) Freel Library, Adams Memorial Middle School and Williamstown Public Library.
