Joan Safford Wright to show at the Milne Library - September 26, 2008
Joan Wright will be showing her paintings at the David & Joyce Milne Public Library during the month of October.
Joan Wright explains, I have been painting seriously since I retired to Williamstown in 2000, after a career teaching history, mainly art history. The setting provides constant inspiration, and there are many artists who have been attracted to the area with whom to share ideas and resources. Most of my work is in oil, but I also work with watercolors and make monoprints.
This exhibit is on view in the main hallway of Milne Public Library, Williamstown. Library hours are Mon –Fri. 10-5:30, Wed. 10-8, and Sat. 10-4. |
